Engraved Type Styles (Fonts)
Type Styles, otherwise known as fonts, give your engraved copy a special look. Many styles used for engraving have a history of development and use which spans decades. The script styles were developed from calligraphy handwriting techniques of the 19th century. Type once was generated from pantographic machines that traced a masterplate outline. Today, most type is generated digitally from computers.
